We are Popcorn
It is amazing how the author was able to write a book with so little plot but still made it interesting. Although I didn't particularly would label this book as my favourite book of all time, it still gave me a good read. If it wasn't for the fact that the book constantly made me think about what I thought about things, I would have dropped this book after the first ten pages. Howie hit me with the first insight of the ranting on about straws. Straws were always one of my favourite things that I use from day to day. When I am drinking an iced drink the ice would always clump up at my lips and that annoyed me. It made me feel nostalgic because when I was little I always struggle to drink things that had ice cubes in it. Howie might not make you feel the same way but in his own special way, he made you feel relateable regardless. An example of such is when he compared himself with Popcorn.
